For our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a Head of Controlling (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the Controlling team
• Take overall responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and annual Group Reporting to Management and the corporate headquarters, including consolidation, analysis and management reporting
• Lead the Group-wide budgeting and forecasting process and continuously improve planning methodologies and forecast quality
• Prepare variance analyses, ad hoc analyses as well as liquidity and cash flow analyses
• Develop, maintain and continuously enhance Group-wide KPI and reporting systems while driving the standardization and harmonization of controlling processes and reporting standards
• Support the implementation and continuous development of consolidation, planning and reporting tools such as Lucanet, Power BI or Excel-based solutions
• Act as a trusted business partner to the Management Board on strategic, financial and business-related matters
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax, local operating units, subsidiaries and the corporate headquarters
• Participate in strategic projects such as M&A transactions, company valuations, investment decisions and business case evaluations

Qualification

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Group Reporting, Corporate Controlling or a comparable finance function
• Proven leadership experience or demonstrated success in leading teams and cross-functional projects
• Experience in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses and KPI reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, monthly and annual financial statements as well as consolidation principles under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
• Experience in an international corporate environment is an advantage
• Strong commitment to quality with a structured, independent and detail-oriented working style
• Hands-on mentality and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach in a dynamic environment
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to work confidently with complex data structures, tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in interacting with senior management and international stakeholders
• Ability to present complex financial matters in a clear, concise and management-oriented manner
• Willingness to challenge, harmonize and continuously improve processes
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Sound SAP user knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
