Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit specialises in providing high-quality chemical solutions for various industries. As a leading distributor, we offer a comprehensive range of speciality chemicals tailored to the individual needs of our customers. Our broad product portfolio includes ceramic raw materials, water treatment agents, lubricants, raw materials for unsaturated polyester resins (UPR), rubber and more. We also supply first-class ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, always ensuring the highest quality and performance standards.

Job Location is Frankfurt, Germany

 

Responsibility

  • Close cooperation with the head of the business unit in day-to-day business
  • Driving the integration of work processes, communication, team collaboration within the business units
  • Collaboration on cross-functional projects, in particular for the harmonisation of processes
  • Development of a collaboration framework as an interface between sales, logistics, purchasing and administrative tasks in operational sales (e.g. preparing quotations, customer correspondence, etc.)
  • Support in logistics coordination (e.g. for delivery dates, interface to forwarding agents)
  • Preparation of documents, presentations and decision papers for the management
  • Organisation of meetings, workshops and internal events

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a commercial background or comparable
  • Professional experience, preferably in retail
  • Familiarity with chemistry or prior experience in the chemical sector is highly desirable
  • Experience in negotiating and dealing with customers
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Experience with SAP/R3 is an advantage
