Isosorbide (Organic)

Isosorbide is a bicyclic chemical compound from the class of diols and oxygen-containing heterocycles. It can be used as a possible alternative to bisphenol-A (Bis-A) in epoxy resins and polycarbonates. Isosorbide can also be used as a diol component in polyesters and polyurethanes, providing special properties such as climate resistance.
