For our Business Unit Specialty Chemicals, we are looking for an Technical Product Manager Coatings and Rubber (m/f/d) to join us in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

Specialty Chemicals:

Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit specializes in providing high-quality chemical solutions for a wide range of industries. As a leading distributor, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of specialty chemicals tailored to our customers’ individual needs. Our product portfolio includes raw materials and additives for the coatings, plastics, and rubber industries.

Responsibility

• Maintain and further develop existing supplier and customer relationships for selected product groups within the coatings and rubber segment
• Identify and acquire new customers and suppliers while building long-term business partnerships
• Identify market opportunities and successfully introduce new products to the market
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and business partners
• Prepare, manage, and monitor annual budgets for the assigned product portfolio
• Analyze market and competitive developments and derive suitable sales and product strategies
• Participate regularly in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
• Work closely with international suppliers and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong technical knowledge in coatings, plastics, and/or rubber applications
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in the above-mentioned industries or in the trading of specialty chemicals and semi-commodities
• Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
• Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• High willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
