For our Business Unit Specialty Chemicals, we are looking for an Manager Customer Service and Logistics (m/f/d) to join us in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

 

Specialty Chemicals:

Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit specializes in providing high-quality chemical solutions for a wide range of industries. As a leading distributor, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of specialty chemicals tailored to our customers’ individual needs. Our product portfolio includes raw materials and additives for the coatings, plastics, and rubber industries.

 

Responsibility

  • Manage the complete order processing for warehouse, replenishment and direct delivery orders
  • Ensure smooth order execution, including feasibility checks and delivery date monitoring
  • Coordinate the entire transportation process while ensuring compliance with logistics, customs and hazardous goods regulations
  • Prepare shipping documentation in accordance with international and country-specific requirements (e.g. customs documents and certificates of analysis)
  • Purchase logistics services, prepare freight forwarding orders and regularly review freight rates
  • Manage invoice processing, including invoice verification and posting
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and communicate with customers regarding overdue payments

 

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding Specialist, Wholesale and Foreign Trade Specialist, or a comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge of road, air and sea freight coordination
  • At least three years of professional experience in international trade and general sales support
  • Good understanding of logistics and international trade processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills combined with flexibility, initiative and a proactive approach
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SAP R/3 is an advantage
