Tankstorage Facility in Antwerp

Our Key Services at a Glance:

Through our subsidiary Duval NV, we operate Europe’s largest tankstorage for liquid sulfur in Antwerp, Belgium, with a capacity of approximately 50,000 tons.

Duval NV offers a range of customized services for its sulfur clients, including the solidification and storage of sulfur, as well as the loading and unloading of liquid sulfur from or onto complete trains since 2020.

Its strategic location in the Port of Antwerp provides an excellent logistics hub with connections for ocean-going vessels, inland barges, trains, and road tankers.

The History of Sojitz SOLVADIS

The Sojitz SOLVADIS Group can look back on over a hundred years of tradition. Even in the early days of the Frankfurter Metallgesellschaft, we were involved with the raw material sulphur. This business experienced an upswing in the 1960s and is still an important part of Sojitz SOLVADIS' activities today.

The restructuring of the metal company also changed the face of this successful trading and service division. However, the many years of know-how, the high level of service and the good business relationships have remained and continue to be the strengths of Sojitz SOLVADIS.
