For our Business Unit Specialty Chemicals, we are looking for an Sales and Product Manager Nutraceuticals (m/f/d) to join us in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

 

Specialty Chemicals:

Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit specialises in providing high-quality chemical solutions for various industries. As a leading distributor, we offer a comprehensive range of speciality chemicals tailored to the individual needs of our customers. Our broad product portfolio includes ceramic raw materials, water treatment agents, lubricants, raw materials for unsaturated polyester resins (UPR), rubber and more. We also supply first-class ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, always ensuring the highest quality and performance standards.

 

Responsibility

  • As Sales and Product Manager in the Life Science team, you will be responsible for a product group and continuously expand the portfolio.
  • With your expertise in nutraceuticals, food ingredients, or sports nutrition and your confident demeanor, you will quickly become a trusted advisor for our customers.
  • You can rely on an established, high-quality product range and on the strength of our suppliers, with whom you will communicate regularly — as well as on the support of experienced colleagues and BU management.
  • Regular customer contact and visits — mainly in the DACH region, occasionally in other EU countries — are a natural part of your role.
  • You will always keep your ear to the market, attend trade fairs and conferences, and identify new trends at an early stage.
  • Based on your insights, you will successfully introduce new products to the market, supported by your colleagues and superiors.

 

Qualification

  • Commercial or chemical/technical background, or a degree in business, chemistry, nutritional sciences, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in field sales of complex nutraceutical or food ingredients (preferably with focus on plant and yeast extracts, yeast proteins, amino acids, or similar HACCP-grade ingredients)
  • Ideally, experience in sourcing or procurement marketing
  • Business-fluent English and German; another foreign language is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel (Europe and occasionally worldwide)
  • A confident, self-reliant personality with a structured and strategic approach
