For our Business Unit Specialty Chemicals, we are looking for an Customer Service Agent (m/f/d) to join us in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

 

Specialty Chemicals:

Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit specialises in providing high-quality chemical solutions for various industries. As a leading distributor, we offer a comprehensive range of speciality chemicals tailored to the individual needs of our customers. Our broad product portfolio includes ceramic raw materials, water treatment agents, lubricants, raw materials for unsaturated polyester resins (UPR), rubber and more. We also supply first-class ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, always ensuring the highest quality and performance standards.

 

Responsibility

  • Participation in supply chain projects / execution of special assignments
  • Full order management, including order entry for warehouse, replenishment, and direct delivery orders
  • Ensuring order fulfilment, including feasibility checks and deadline monitoring
  • Handling the entire shipping process (order shipping process), including logistical and legal (hazardous goods) checks
  • Purchasing logistics services, creating forwarding orders (including documentation), and regularly monitoring freight rates
  • Managing the invoicing process (customer invoicing), including checking and posting invoices
  • Monitoring accounts receivable, including payment collection calls with customers
  • Regular inventory control in cooperation with product management
  • Timely handling of simple complaint management (first level support)

 

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as wholesale and foreign trade management assistant, freight forwarding clerk, or comparable
  • In-depth knowledge in commissioning land, air, and sea freight
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, initiative, and commitment
  • At least three years of professional experience in international trade
  • General sales experience
