For our Business Unit Basic Chemicals, we are seeking an Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of sales activities and development of existing customer portfolios
  • Daily support of assigned customer baskets (e.g. preparing offers, handling inquiries, coordination with internal stakeholders)
  • Conducting price negotiations in close cooperation with the business unit
  • Collecting, preparing, and analyzing market and competitive information
  • Acquisition of new customers and identification of business opportunities
  • Participation in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Occasional customer visits to strengthen long-term relationships

 

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training or university degree, ideally with a focus on chemistry or pharmaceuticals
  • and/or Several years of professional experience (ideally 3–5 years) in commodity trading – for example in key account management, product management, or inside sales
  • Strong interest in trading activities and in developing products along the entire value chain
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, persuasive demeanor
  • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working, paired with strong team spirit
  • Service-oriented approach and hands-on mentality
  • Business-fluent English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
